DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF)

The DoD Cyber Workforce Framework (DCWF) is a standardized structure used by the U.S. Department of War to define, categorize, and manage its cyberspace workforce. It identifies 74 work roles across 7 Elements and includes detailed Tasks, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs) for each. The DCWF applies to all DoW military, civilian, and contractor personnel who perform cyberspace work, including IT, cybersecurity, offensive/defensive operations, intelligence, and AI/data roles. It supports hiring, training, certification, and career development.
